Presbyterian Coffee Project: A variety of coffees, teas, olive oil, and snacks are available for sale in Heritage Hall after the service as a part of our Fair Trade mission project. Chocolate products are sold at cost, and all other items have a slight markup, with the profit going to support other Heritage mission projects. For more information about how the fair trade mission project helps ensure small farmers around the globe earn a living wage, visit www.pcusa.org/coffee.

Light a candle and say a prayer for someone in need or a need in the world. Candles are available for lighting in the back of the Sanctuary.
Thursday morning Bible study meets at 10:30am in the piamo room. If you haven’t had a change to join this group, now is a great time! Hope to see you there.

Souper Bowl offering will be collected on February 4. Bring $1 to church to help feed the hungry. Our proceeds will go to the Benicia Community Action Council.
Ash Wednesday is February 22nd and worship will be held at First Presbyterian Church 1350 Amador Street, Vallejo, at 7:30pm.
The Benicia Historical Museum “Keep the Faith” exhibit opens today. The archival objects, photos, and history of the religious heritage in Benicia will be on display, including some items from Heritage. Step back in time and see where it all began. The museum is located at 2060 Camel Road.
Lenten Series – We will be having a series of mid-week dinners which will precede a program pertaining to Lent. The only thing you have to bring is yourself/your family. Dinner will be provided by a local restaurant. The dinners are every other week during Lent, February 29th, March 14th, & March 28th. The cost is $5 per person; $15 per family. Dinner will be from 6:00 – 6:45, then from 6:45 – 7:30 our program will involve two choices of activities: 1. Join in with the Intergenerational Tone Chimes Choir who will learn one or two songs to play on Easter! 2.Join in with a study led by Melody Seymour entitled “On the Cross”. We will look at the symbolism of various crosses. You do need to sign up in advance!
