Our worship life at Heritage revolves around our Sunday morning worship service held at 10 am. It seeks to meet the spiritual needs of the congregation through preaching the word of God, Bible reading, music, and prayer. Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of each month as well as the Sundays of Advent and Lent.
Music is an important part of our worship service with a multigenerational choir. Special music, provided by soloists and musicians from the congregation, enhances and supplements the music at worship services throughout the year. Our music selections primarily follow the new Presbyterian hymnal, Glory to God, with both classic and contemporary anthems.
Childcare is available during the worship service for children under the age of 3. A children’s sermon is part of the worship service after which the children and youth are excused to go to their respective Sunday school programs. The exception is the first Sunday of the month and special services. On those Sundays the children and youth remain in the entire worship service to participate in Communion. The children and youth also participate as lay readers, greeters, and ushers with the rest of the congregation.
Most sermons are recorded and made available on our website. Click here for an archive.
